Mr. Leo Chan is the founder and CEO of Leader Radio Technologies Limited (LRT) and oversees its product, sales and marketing team. LRT is one of the largest distributors in Greater China and Asia Pacific in distributing and marketing wearable products from brands such as Fitbit, Therabody and Plantroncis. Mr. Chan travels frequently to industry tradeshows around the world for consumer electronics and mobile related products such as CES, IFA, WWDC, MWC and writes a weekly blog on technologies and emerging trends. In July 2017, he was chosen among 14 individuals globally to attend the TED Spotlight Presentation Academy to share a speech at TED New York headquarter and received professional training in presentation.

Mr. Chan graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science at the University of La Verne in California and an Executive MBA degree (2014) and a Master of Arts degree in Sports Studies (2020) at CUHK.

Mr. Chan is currently a committee member of the Hong Kong Paralympic Committee & Sports Association for the Physically Disabled and an executive committee member of Hong Kong Recreation Management Association. He was a member of Electronics/Electrical Appliances Industries Advisory Committee of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (2018-2020), a board member of the Entrepreneurs’ Organization Hong Kong (2017-2018), Member of the Speaker Team at TEDxCUHK (2017-2018) and also a founding board member of the CUHK Alumni Entrepreneur Association. 

In 2021, Mr. Chan’s presentation on ‘How to Be A Good TED Speaker’ was featured and published in a book along with 10 other industry leaders titled Leadership in Extraordinary Times: Working Towards A New Normal published by the CUHK EMBA Programme.
